cant wait to test my 8"s and my jbl 15"s with that!! soundcard is a creative soundblaster 5.1. amazing quality!
more to come soon been v busy lately and my room is a state
just a lil powerpoint i made to make it look like a virus was in action! i tried to run a marco to make the computer actually shut down, but couldnt figure how to do it...any advice?!
this video is VERY old. back when i had the behringer, jvc, home made woofer box and stuff. this setup was very very nice tho. the rotels pounded, and the jvc was fresh off the 180w powered mixer.
finaly got some more wire and managed to get the technics on 4 ohms by running each coil on its own channel. the result is amazing! this means each single coil is getting the RMS of the technics, and the subs being 200wrms, each coil will be 100Wrms. And the technics could smoke that EASY =p
will upload a vid of my new soundcard soon!!
with a decent sub these tones should blow ur house up! i dont know the names of most of the tests...but 2 of them r feel the bass by dj magic mike and string champion by dj oddz
Just seeing how my half blown jvc handles some ultra - low tests. ive seen some systems actually hit these kinda notes (well maybe apart from that in the slowed bass i love you)
Massive excursion up in dis biyatch!!
had the subsonic filter OFF, if i have it turned on then i can hit them other notes a lot louder. But i had it off for the purpose of huge excursion without them other higher notes makin the neighbours come over =p
WHATS THAT CLICKING you ask!?! Its the microphone BOTTOMING OUT! yes, thats the cone deforming and coil hitting the plate. Same sound of you take some headphones apart and touch the speaker, but being a microphone, aits amplified. hmm. not nice. gives you an idea of what these subs do to your ears tho.
pushing it hard and seeing what its got! Its much better than that aiwa, and its possibly matching the level that the good old JVC was at lol. all thanks to the box of course! Its good on this amp too, 60Wrms on 6ohms so about right
Same as the other video, just this time with blu-tac over the camera mic so you dont get that awful sound. Turn your computer system up - the bass gets recorded realy pure like this.
Havent seen a 3" around thats quite as good as this!! The clippy sounds is the camera distorting, that's how this camera copes with bass tones. nasty huh.
