This synth dates all the way back to 1984, as does my inner adolescent as I attempt to explain the very first trick I ever learned on a synthesizer: How to enter unison, or monophonic (solo) mode. My synth sounds like crap in this mode. Maybe yours sounds better? Watch and pretend that learning is fun!

Unreleased track written in 1994 with some really unusual scales and soloing techniques. Synths used: Roland V-Synth (custom Angelmuse mod), Korg 01/W, and Roland JD-800.
Made back in 2003, here's me with all my hair creating RAB5 the old fashioned way, using paper and pens, scanner, etc. Yuck! Nowadays I use a tablet to draw everything right on the screen. Nevertheless, I made around 40 short animated films the way described in this video. Enjoy.

Putting the mental in instrumental, once again... Another odd ditty... this one grooves in an alternating 15/8 and 4/4... more epileptic dancing fun for everyone! Backing tracks & rock organ part are all Garage Band... such a great program. Meanwhile, the Nord Lead, Access Virus kb, and trusty old Korg 01/W are along for the ride, with Cthulhu riding shotgun.
An outtake of a recent video interview I made for SonicState.com when my Himalayan kitten (Dusty) steals the show and starts playing synth music behind me that actually sounds pretty friggin' good. That jerk. It's bad enough that he's better looking, but I figured I at least had all the talent up in here's.
